Kuika, the rapid software development platform powered by artificial intelligence, brought young talents together at the AI Hackathon held at Istanbul Bilgi University’s Santral Istanbul Campus. In the second edition of the AI Hackathon, participants used Kuika’s low-code platform and artificial intelligence technologies to develop innovative solutions, benefiting from the power of Kuika.
Kuika’s Chairman, Süreyya Ciliv, stated: “In the new AI-driven world, two key factors will determine success. First, innovative and entrepreneurial leaders. Second, intelligent systems. Those who implement intelligent systems in their companies will succeed, while others will fall behind. This is the era of intelligent systems. By harnessing the power of AI, companies can stand out in competition and provide unique experiences to their customers. This is possible through software, and Kuika AI plays a crucial role in the rapid development of software."
Mehmet Ali Tombalak, Chairman of TÜBİSAD and a jury member at the Kuika AI Hackathon, shared his thoughts: “It was an inspiring experience to meet with the young participants of the Kuika AI Hackathon, witness their excitement, and see their creative ideas. As I’ve always emphasized, our country’s greatest strength is the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of our youth. Despite coming from different schools, they came together as teams and accomplished great things. This sends an important message to the business world. Companies in our industry can also join forces around a common goal and create significant value, building strong brands in the process.”
The Kuika AI Hackathon hosted 11 teams, consisting of 2 to 5 participants, all aged 18 and above, from universities including Koç University, Sabancı University, Istanbul Bilgi University, Istanbul Technical University, and Kadir Has University. At least one member of each team held Designer and Builder certifications from Kuika Academy.
During the event, a panel moderated by technology programmer Hande Berktan featured Süreyya Ciliv, who discussed the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on business models and the qualities of next-generation leadership.
